Psychiatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Greenlife Healthcare Staffing. As a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with mental health needs.
Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric problems using de-escalation techniques.
- Work as part of a team to provide total medical care for patients.
- Evaluate mental health needs, facilitate contraband searches, and monitor the mental health environment of care.
- Develop treatment plans, provide psychotherapy services, and administer medications.
- Coordinate with families, doctors, and other health professionals.
- Minimum of 3 years current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred.
- Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).
- Competitive salary of $58.94 / hr.
- Vacation, Federal Holidays, and Sick days.
- Full-time position with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Eight (8), ten (10), or twelve (12)-hour shifts or a combination.
