Sanitation and Quality Expert

The Sanitation and Quality Expert will be responsible for maintaining Sanitation and Pest Control records and ensuring that our programs are compliant with corporate QP's and Sanitation policies. The candidate will support Operations through administration of Quality Programs and be involved in troubleshooting and problem solving in concert with Operations and Quality departments to prevent faulty product, consumer complaints, and sanitary design issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to ensure that the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment are available to perform sanitation tasks effectively.
Work with key partners to ensure that food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process and product specifications in a timely manner.
Provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.
Requirements:
Scientific grounding in food safety science.
Passion and desire for technical area and a continuous improvement mentality.
Experience leading people in a union, quality and sanitation experience, manufacturing experience, project management skills, analytical and computer skills, verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and strong customer service skills for internal and external customers.
Education:
High school diploma or GED (Required). Bachelor degree in Science/Food Sanitation (Preferred).
