Job Description: Sanitation OperatorAs a Sanitation Operator at ByHeart, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene in our production facilities. You will be responsible for performing daily sanitation tasks outlined in the master sanitation schedule and ensuring adherence to these protocols.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing sanitation activities as outlined in the master sanitation schedule
- Working as directed by the Production Manager for additional shift sanitation support
- Monitoring sanitation supplies to ensure inventory is maintained
- Monitoring sanitation logs and alerting Managers if logs are incomplete
- Supporting Production Operators during CIP and scheduled cleaning
- Completing logs for cleaning, sanitation, materials transactions, and records as required in SOPs
- General cleaning of the facility and performing sanitation functions per procedure or as directed
- Operating a forklift for material movement as required for this position
- Performing other sanitation duties as directed by the Sanitation Manager
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Degree or Equivalent
- Certification in Sanitation preferred
- Self-discipline, teamwork, and the ability to handle emergency situations common to the operation
- Maintaining personal cleanliness and following GMPs as described in company guidelines
- Clear and organized writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow sanitation procedures, chemical concentrations, and chemical safety procedures
