Position Overview

The Community Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in implementing the store's community initiatives, which involve connecting with the local populace through relationship development, events, and various activities, including supporting lululemon product distribution and engaging with local fitness studios. This role is pivotal in nurturing and maintaining essential relationships with lululemon Ambassadors and other influential community stakeholders, providing mutual benefits. The Community Engagement Specialist also ensures an exceptional guest experience while on the sales floor, integrating their community insights into guest interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with store leadership to bring the community strategy to fruition, focusing on community foundations and guest experience.
  • Build and manage vital local relationships (e.g., Ambassadors, Sweat Collective, studio owners) to enhance guest acquisition and retention.
  • Engage with the local community to discover future Ambassador or partnership opportunities, elevating the store's status as a community hub.
  • Connect with guests on the sales floor to understand their unique needs, provide product education, and integrate omnichannel experiences for a seamless guest journey.
  • Participate in, support, and/or organize local and regional community events.
  • Implement the product distribution strategy through community partners and Ambassadors.
  • Analyze community-related business data and metrics to offer insights and recommendations to store leadership regarding community events and initiatives.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment by embracing and celebrating diversity, ensuring a supportive and enjoyable experience for all team members.
Qualifications

Eligibility
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to the assigned store.
Schedule/Availability
  • Work schedules may vary based on store requirements.
  • Shifts are typically scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak periods or special events, shifts may include early mornings or late nights.
Experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of cumulative experience in customer service, grassroots marketing, brand engagement, or community development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent or higher.
  • Experience in building or maintaining relationships with clients, groups, or partners; motivating team members to achieve goals.

Compensation & Benefits

At lululemon, we believe in rewarding exceptional team performance. The base pay range for this position is between $18.00 - $20.70/hour, subject to minimum wage laws in the location. The offered base pay is determined by market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This position also has a target bonus of an additional $3 per hour, contingent on specific requirements and the Company's discretion, resulting in a total target compensation range of $21.00 - $23.70/hour.
