Systems Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Engineer to join our team at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, testing, and customizing sophisticated relational databases, client-server software applications, and secure computer networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with multi-functional teams to configure and remotely deploy Parata's Central RX software per driven project SOW
- Develop and implement test plans to ensure system functionality and quality (defect-free)
- Review project designs and customer's business model and workflow with the assigned project manager and identify standard versus custom software/IT configuration requirements
- Build or assist in building server solutions, workstation computers, and secure systems networks per the requirements of the project
- Install, configure, tune, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Database Management Systems (DBMS)
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, industrial engineering, or electrical engineering
- Four or more years of practical, hands-on experience in one or more of the following proficiency areas: systems integration, systems analysis, database programming, software project management, software design, development, and/or engineering
- Conceptual knowledge of virtualization, HA, FT, and basic networking principles (VLAN, subnetting, ACLs, Firewalls, etc.)
- Solid understanding of database administration tools such as SQL Mgmt. Studio, PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with scripting/scripting languages, Visual Studio, .NET framework, ASP, SQL Server, OS/Networking, Windows 7, Windows 10, RAID, Server 2016, and/or SQL Server 2016
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
Work will primarily be in an office setting with limited opportunities to be exposed to adverse environmental conditions
Work will be primarily working with fingers by picking, pinching, typing, and grasping often with repetitive motion
Must have visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, hear, and sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to carry, lift, and push/pull up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
Additional physical duties may be required as necessary
