The Immigrant Advocates Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Immigrant Services Support to oversee the development and implementation of training programs for service providers across New York State.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Immigrant Concerns Training Institute, providing comprehensive training on immigration law and related topics to service providers.
- Develop and deliver training curricula in partnership with subject matter experts, ensuring interactive and engaging content.
- Lead the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of training programs, including the development of planning and evaluation tools.
- Collaborate with NYIC Member organizations and staff to identify training needs and plan additional trainings.
- Manage contract implementation, ensuring fulfillment of grant deliverables, budget management, and reporting on program activities.
- Ensure compliance with Accredited Provider of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements in New York State.
- Provide technical assistance on DOJ Recognition and Accreditation to NYIC Member organizations and partners.
- Maintain relationships with organizations and individuals providing services to immigrant communities throughout NY State.
- Oversee training program logistics and participant experiences.
- Supervise Senior Associate for Training, manage performance, guide professional development, and provide key feedback.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in immigration law and/or policy.
- Prior experience developing or conducting trainings, or teaching, with an appreciation for adult learning principles.
- Experience supervising staff or interns.
- Highly organized, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort with public speaking.
- Good team player, comfortable taking initiative, and able to adapt as necessary to changing circumstances.
- Passion for immigrant services and social justice.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with DOJ recognition and accreditation is a plus.
