Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our K-12 and education construction projects. As the on-site leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Lead the day-to-day operations of K-12 and education construction projects, ensuring work is completed according to project plans, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site personnel, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Scheduling: Develop, manage, and update project schedules, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any construction issues or delays that arise on-site, working collaboratively with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work meets design specifications, building codes, and quality expectations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and school district representatives, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Site Logistics: Coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to the job site, ensuring that the project remains on track.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and site records, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on K-12 and educational facility projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors on large-scale, complex projects.
  • Experience working in occupied schools and coordinating with district personnel and administrators.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and resolve conflicts.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
  • OSHA certification and strong commitment to job site safety.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and budgets.
