Position Purpose:

A Financial Services Representative is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships while utilizing a consultative approach to provide solutions that meet the financial needs of new and existing customers. Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Engage with customers daily to build strong relationships, processing transactions, assessing needs, and recommending products to create an exceptional customer experience.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services to fulfill customer needs, opening new accounts, performing maintenance, meeting sales goals, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Emphasize personal growth through continuous learning, adapting to new procedures and systems to drive business growth and team success.
  • Ensure operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Deliver customer requests with speed and accuracy.
  • Maintain cash levels and outages within established guidelines.
  • Foster consistent communication internally and externally.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures to ensure customer and bank safety and soundness.
  • Encourage the use of technology in daily banking interactions, including educating customers on mobile banking, online banking, and other digital tools.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of previous banking experience required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work under deadlines and frequent interruptions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong knowledge of technology and willingness to adapt to new software systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work involves prolonged computer use, reading reports, and other tasks that may cause eye strain.
  • Work requires concentration in sometimes distracting environments.
  • Work involves lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Work requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and via phone.
  • Work may involve occasional travel for meetings, training, and other business purposes.
