Sales Associate

Warnike Carpet & Tile is a full-service retail-flooring store that specializes in various types of flooring, custom showers, kitchen backsplashes, fireplace resurfacing, stone countertops and high-end luxury appliances. We are looking to add a talented and creative Sales Associate to our team to assist our clientele in their design and selection process. Pay: $15-$30/hour plus commissions.Hours: 40 hours a week, flexible schedule available, Saturdays are required.Benefits:Paid Time OffEmployee Health InsuranceOptional Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceEmployer Matched IRAEmployee discountResponsibilities include:Greeting customers on the sales floor and determining their wants and needs.Assist in the design process for customersProvide outstanding customer service.Writing sales orders.Completing a follow up with customers after completion of job.Building client relationships.Working effectively with other store employees and installation team members.Using RFMS software to research availability of merchandise and to process orders.Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns.Visiting customer's homes or workplace to provide product and design advice if necessary.Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean.Prospecting and networking for new business.Developing positive relationships with product representatives and attending new product roll out meetings.Keeping up-to-date on the wide selection of products we have to offer along with the benefits, applications and warranties provided by each.Requirements:Associate degree in design or other related fields, preferred but not required1 year plus of retail sales in a related field requiredFriendly, outgoing and highly motivatedAbility to interact with customers in a professional manner dailyAbility to retain a working knowledge of product features, applications, warranties and installation process if necessaryGood oral and written communication skillsBasic computer, mathematical and office skillsOrganized and detail orientedWork well under pressure and able to meet customer deadlines if applicableExcellent design senseFor more information, please visit us in our showroom or at www.warnike.com
