Job Description

The ideal candidate will assist the project manager and team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts.

Multitasking and prioritizing tasks from preconstruction through completion are essential responsibilities of this role.

  • Assist with on-site management to ensure project execution success.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks before occurrence.
  • Maintain and review daily superintendent reports.
  • Ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines.
  • Assist with material procurement, tracking, RFI's, submittals, etc..
  • Participate in the project bidding process.
  • Process owner and subcontractors change orders.
  • Set up OAC weekly meetings.
  • Help train or mentor other employees and lead by example.
  • Continuously seek process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in Commercial Construction Projects.
  • Commercial TI experience required.
  • Ability to read drawings and understand the constructability of projects.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Construction document control, RFI's, and submittal processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook)
  • Experience with Procore a plus.
  • Familiarity with AZ labor laws and OSHA regulations.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position with regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
