Job Overview

Position: Injection Molding Process Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Shifts Available: Swing shift alternating weekly between 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, as well as 3rd shift from 11pm-7am.

Relocation and Retention Bonuses: Up to $5,000 for relocation and a $5,000 retention bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety and provide processes and data to foster an injury-free workplace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and take initiative in implementing Safe Work Procedures.
  • Engage in safety evaluations of both new and existing secondary equipment.
  • Contribute to the inspection, installation, and setup of new molds.
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting abilities and technical knowledge to systematically analyze tooling, processes, and machinery for problem-solving or process implementation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to support new process development and enhance Plant Productivity initiatives.
  • Work alongside Shift Process Technicians to optimize the efficiency of current processes.
  • Comprehend the Quality system and interpret data related to the molding process.
  • Ensure precise and comprehensive documentation and communication of data.
  • Be prepared for occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a relevant field.
  • A two-year technical degree is preferred.
  • Successful completion of Workkeys Mathematics and Technical aptitude assessments is required.
  • Familiarity with IQMS systems and basic computer skills is essential.
