Responsibilities:

Position Summary:
The Compounding Pharmacy Specialist prepares compounded sterile products and engages in related tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties

Adheres to all B. Braun Medical Inc. policies and procedures.

Utilizes aseptic techniques to prepare compounded sterile products.


Assists in organizing the compounding area, including equipment and supplies necessary for the preparation of sterile solutions, ensuring compliance with aseptic protocols.

Conducts general cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed.

Participates in activities related to the introduction of new products in the cleanroom environment.

Records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.

Level II Responsibilities:
May assist in the training and mentoring of new IV Technicians as assigned.

ACTIVE:
MA Registered Pharmacy Technician License

National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or ExCPT is advantageous.


The compensation range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials associated with the position's location.

Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.

Qualifications:

High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.

0-2 years of relevant experience required.

Applicable industry/professional certification required.

Regular and predictable on-site attendance is necessary.

cGMP training/experience is preferred; training will be provided.

Aseptic processing training/experience is preferred; training will be provided.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and communicate effectively. The employee frequently uses hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
