Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Permanent Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in the medical field.

This role presents a unique chance for an experienced financial professional to significantly influence the organization's trajectory.

The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial data by meticulously recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including daily accounting functions, balance sheets, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, budgeting, and tax compliance.
  • Develop and coordinate essential accounting and statistical data across all departments.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, conduct audits, create forecasts, and ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
  • Direct the preparation of budgets, financial reports, forecasts, and investment activities.
  • Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.
  • Establish performance metrics that align with the company's strategic goals and monitor organizational performance.
  • Implement and oversee financial controls and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements by researching legislation, consulting with advisors, and preparing financial reports.
  • Advise management on both short-term and long-term financial strategies, policies, and actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar financial management role within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficient in General Ledger, Financial Auditing, Cash Flow Management, and Financial Statements.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate strategic vision into operational execution.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record in team management.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience managing multiple entities and complex financial transactions.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, confidence, and executive presence – with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Exceptional analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
