Job Summary

Orscheln Industries is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling components in a cost-effective and quality-driven manner, while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble components in accordance with designated specifications, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to provide necessary information for product manufacture, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Document and maintain required product information, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in efforts to continually improve efficiencies and reduce costs, contributing to the company's overall success.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Prior assembly experience preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Reading skills, basic math skills, ability to write legibly, blueprint reading, measurement tools, computer skills, and assembly-specific skills/qualification check sheets.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive hand/arm movement, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, lifting up to 35lbs, standing for long periods, limited sitting, and working in a heat-controlled environment.
