Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and be proficient in using CT scanning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans and reformations according to established clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Position patients correctly and use proper immobilization techniques.
  • Operate CT scanning equipment, including power injectors and reconstruction software.
  • Follow proper radiation safety guidelines and use the lowest amount of radiation necessary to obtain diagnostic images.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • 3-year general radiology ARRT registry
  • IEMA license
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire
  • IV certification within 3 months of hire
  • Ability to work overtime and respond to work at short notice
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
