Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required for CT scans.
  • Monitor patients during CT scans and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and expertise.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification in computed tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 1 year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in CT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Physical stamina to lift patients and equipment, and stand for long periods.
