Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, following established protocols and guidelines to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners, including setting up and calibrating equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
