Job Overview:
The role involves supporting senior leaders in managing and overseeing the operational requirements of the Food and Nutrition Services department. You will coordinate the activities of front-line personnel and act as a bridge between administration and various hospital departments, ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
Job Requirements:
A High School diploma in General Studies is required, along with 2-3 years of management experience. A minimum of two years in acute or long-term care settings is preferred, depending on formal education or training.

A four-year college degree, military experience, or equivalent work experience is necessary. At least three years of supervisory experience in Food and Nutrition or a service-related field with significant customer/client interaction is required. Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare Food and Nutrition or Hospitality Management is preferred. Candidates must possess effective written and oral communication skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and maintain organization in a dynamic and stressful environment. Initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership qualities are essential. A thorough understanding of contract administration and office procedures is expected, along with a willingness to work regularly, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
Occasional climbing, consistent concentration, and occasional continuous learning are required.
Hearing:
Consistent conversation and interpersonal communication are necessary.
Occasional kneeling, consistent lifting of less than 10 lbs, frequent lifting of 11-50 lbs, and rare lifting of over 50 lbs are expected. Frequent pulling, pushing, reaching, and walking are also part of the role. Reading and thinking/reasoning will be consistent, while sitting will be rare and standing will be frequent.
