Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized pharmacy technician to join our team. As a pharmacy technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and timely processing of prescriptions, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation of prescriptions, verification of medication, and management of inventory.
  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and implement process improvements.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to enhance growth opportunities and improve patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
