Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers to enhance growth opportunities.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
