We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to enhance growth opportunities and improve patient outcomes.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
- Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
