Job Title: FAIR Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as the FAIR Program Manager. This role will oversee the selection process for FAIR participants, refine the onboarding and orientation process, and develop a comprehensive curriculum for the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the selection process for FAIR participants, including reviewing applications and collaborating with department managers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for the FAIR program, including orientation, tours, lectures, discussions, and events.
  • Coordinate with department managers and directors to determine application criteria, FAIR curriculum, and processes of evaluation.
  • Identify potential apprenticeships with department managers and directors on an annual basis.
  • Collaborate with department managers and directors to support successful mentor/mentee relationships.
  • Manage the budget and strategic planning of the program in collaboration with the Associate Director of Education.
  • Track program alumni for funding opportunities and research and apply for private and institutional funding resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre or commensurate experience.
  • Experience in theatre arts, project management, and implementing and overseeing systems and procedures.
  • Cultural competency and experience working with diverse populations, people of color, and young adults.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to process.
  • Inter-personal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity and ability to maintain a positive and inclusive work atmosphere.

Working Conditions:

The work is performed in a variety of environments, including standard office settings, rehearsal spaces, and theatre backstage areas and auditoriums. Regular travel by public transportation, including airplane, train, and car, may be required.

Salary: $60,000 per year.
