  • Implement system installations aimed at reducing production downtime and enhancing safety while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems to ensure superior employee comfort, safety, and productivity.
  • Review and assess performance on existing assets to pinpoint systemic issues.
  • Inspect construction and installation processes.
  • Coordinate projects with maintenance personnel.
  • Adhere to and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all mandatory training is completed punctually.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling preventative maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required, with relevant experience. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and electrical work, with a preference for experience in PLC and food manufacturing.
  • A minimum of 2 years managing a maintenance team in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to unify a maintenance team, develop technicians at all levels, and work collaboratively within a diverse workforce.
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is advantageous.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Commitment to safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe practices.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities safely and effectively.
  • Bi-lingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
