Position Overview:

FSA Federal (FSA) is dedicated to providing exceptional support to law enforcement and homeland security. We are currently seeking a Records Examiner/Analyst to assist in fulfilling the mission of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO). Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and analyze data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve discrepancies in received information and confirm data integrity.
  • Input essential data into multiple databases, documents, or spreadsheets with precision.
  • Establish and maintain case/project files efficiently.
  • Oversee the validation and verification processes of case files and data systems.
  • Monitor case file progress to ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Manage requests for supplementary information as necessary.
  • Extract pertinent information from diverse sources to generate documents, reports, summaries, and responses to inquiries, ensuring correctness and proper formatting.
  • Handle data manipulation, transfer, and printing tasks effectively.
  • Draft and revise reports and correspondence utilizing word processing software.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates on case statuses.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or High School Diploma/GED with two years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in asset forfeiture or a related law enforcement field (including legal and military backgrounds).
  • Ability to comprehend the structure and functions of the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in project and workload management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to review, interpret, evaluate, and extract information from complex legal and non-legal documents.
  • Strong attention to detail with meticulous data entry capabilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with advanced skills preferred.
  • Proven commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
Additional Information:

This position mandates U.S. Citizenship and a comprehensive background investigation lasting a minimum of 7 (or 10) years.

Agency Overview:

The United States Attorney's Office (USAO) acts as the primary litigators for the nation under the Attorney General's guidance. The Asset Forfeiture Section is tasked with prosecuting both criminal and civil cases involving property utilized or acquired through illegal activities.
