Responsibilities:
  • Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics, and coordination
  • Represent the company in meetings and interfaces with all project stakeholders
  • Coordinate and direct all subcontractor and vendors
  • Work with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability
  • Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
  • Verify that subcontractors complete the assigned scope of work
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the industry
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 7-10 years of related experience working on Mission Critical commercial construction projects
  • Extensive knowledge of established construction practices, procedures, and techniques as well as applicable local, state, and federal building codes
  • Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and tools and proficiency in skilled construction and repair tasks
  • Possess strong computer skills, proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing, and cost control
  • Knowledge of general survey and layout practices
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with project team, customers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lead and manage teams
  • Thorough and attentive to details, extremely organized, and able to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to proactively plan and identify risks to meet or exceed deadlines while meeting safety requirements, productivity goals, sustainability goals, and quality
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace
  • Ability to read, understand, and red-line work orders, budget, change orders, safety standards, plans specifications, shop drawings, submittals, manufacturer's literature
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, blueprints, contract documents, and specifications, and CPM schedules
  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position
