We are seeking a skilled Field Service Lube Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing services on a variety of construction and mining equipment, including mobile power generators, dozers, wheel loaders, track hoes, and off-road forklifts. The technician will operate a service/lube truck and travel to equipment locations to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to job sites in a service/lube truck
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and grease applications
  • Communicate with forman and superintendents to schedule service times
  • Inspect equipment for needed repairs or preventative maintenance
  • Ability to read and comprehend operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Complete service reports and inspection reports
  • Obtain fluid samples from equipment
  • Perform basic repairs to equipment and vehicles
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, operate vehicles safely and courteously
  • Work outside in all weather conditions on and under vehicles and equipment

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • Mechanical aptitude and previous heavy equipment technician experience
  • Strong work ethic and ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Acceptable driving record
