About the Role

Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, a leading law firm in California, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join its Labor and Employment practice in the Sacramento office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced attorney to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the firm's success in representing public agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting witness interviews and managing discovery
  • Taking and defending depositions, and appearing in court
  • Drafting dispositive motions, including demurrers and motions for summary judgment
  • Case management and trial preparation
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in employment matters, including wage and hour, PAGA, and FSLA. Prior employment litigation experience is required.

Experience in the public sector is a plus, and trial, mediation, or other dispute resolution processes experience is preferred.
