Role Overview: We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician II to join our team at the New London facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks related to Machine Assembly operations, including the disassembly and assembly of various machinery and mechanical components.
  • Perform staging, cleaning, inspection, welding, torching, painting, and material handling as required.
  • Assemble component parts, sub-assemblies, or complete units, which may include electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, structural products, and air/hydraulic piping.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in machine assembly techniques to ensure optimal fits, clearances, finishes, and lubrication.
  • Utilize hand tools, small power tools, precision measuring instruments, and other specialized equipment effectively.
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions for all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to three years of relevant work experience.
  • Crane and Forklift Certification (in-house training available).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of safety equipment, including safety boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and ear protection.
