Equipment Mechanic

Altec is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As an Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics of hydraulic utility equipment
- Repair and maintain truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Work directly with customers to resolve equipment issues
- Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
