Position Title: Custodial Services Associate

Job Category: Facilities Management

Compensation: $14.00 per hour with potential increases at specified intervals.

Role Overview:

This role is essential for maintaining a clean and orderly environment within the facilities. The Custodial Services Associate is responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks including:

  • Sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, conference areas, and kitchen spaces.
  • Restocking necessary supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring all areas are kept in a neat and hygienic condition by performing tasks such as emptying waste bins, replacing liners, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including offices and common spaces.
  • Organize and manage janitorial supplies and equipment in a safe and tidy manner.
  • Utilize cleaning chemicals correctly, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Follow established procedures to uphold company and safety standards.
  • Transport materials and maintain offsite facilities as required.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in janitorial services is preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Positive demeanor and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to interpret written instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling measurements.
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment as needed.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.

Additional Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record. This position may require compliance with specific regulations regarding access to sensitive information.
