About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Exploring Management LLC. As a key contact between sales, clients, and the internal team, you will be responsible for managing the workflow for multiple accounts from inception through completion and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact between sales, clients, and the internal team.
  • Manage workflow for multiple accounts from inception through completion and invoicing.
  • Provide estimates and project plans, including timelines for design, production, installation, and/or delivery.
  • Communicate project progress to the sales team and customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build strong customer relationships, identify future needs, and capitalize on sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service and account management skills.
  • Preferred background in creative services, digital printing, and large format printing.
  • Ability to respond quickly to requests from customers and the sales team.
  • Accurately enter and maintain records of estimates and processed orders, ensuring complete and accurate customer information, product, price, quantity, and delivery details.
  • Proactively resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and negotiating.
  • Team player with a positive attitude towards co-workers and customers.
  • Ability to follow established departmental procedures.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as dictated by workload.
  • Open to constructive criticism from management.
  • Estimating skills preferred but not required.
  • Support other Account Managers as necessary.
  • Follow the chain of command when resolving internal production and departmental challenges.
  • Deliver high-level customer service consistent with project requirements and performance standards.

  • Essential Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience in creative services, graphics, and printing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five to six years of experience in account management, customer service, design, or sales in the printing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn industry-specific software programs.
Work Environment

The work environment is primarily an office setting with occasional visits to production areas.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.

Work Schedule

Full-time position with a standard workweek.

Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet project deadlines or attend events.
