Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop effective care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Perform routine clinical and administrative tasks, including vital sign collection, medical record documentation, and equipment preparation.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct lab testing, including venipunctures and CLIA-Waived testing.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Arrange for specialized consultations and appointments as needed.
- Notify insurance personnel for pre-certification and scheduling purposes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required.
- Current credentialing with American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA-CMA), NRCMA, NHA, NCCT, or American Medical Technologists (AMT-RMA) required.
