Job Title: Consulting Engineer RF Microwave Design

We are seeking an experienced Consulting Engineer RF Microwave Design to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative RF and microwave systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF and microwave systems, including antenna architectures and receiver/exciter systems.
  • Lead the overall design and development effort, ensuring that systems meet performance and reliability requirements.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems are integrated and tested correctly.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to identify and resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 16 years of experience in RF and microwave design and development, or 14 years with a Master's degree and/or 12 years with a Ph.D.
  • Significant knowledge of RF and microwave systems, including antenna design and receiver/exciter technology.
  • Experience with digital controls and computational electromagnetics.
  • Active Interim Secret or higher clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MATLAB and Python programming languages.
  • Knowledge of RF subsystems and antenna measurements.
