EHS Compliance Manager

The EHS Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of environmental, health, and safety initiatives within the organization. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this role is crucial in ensuring adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations across the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce EHS programs to maintain compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance and Engineering to align EHS goals with overall company objectives.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and compliance status.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree accompanied by 10 years of progressive experience in EHS management. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or GMP setting is essential. Certification in EHS practices is mandatory.
Experience with Corrective Action/Preventive Action Program (CAPA) is necessary for tracking and addressing safety inspection findings, as well as for trending and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented corrections.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will oversee the Sr EHS Coordinator and EHS Coordinator.
