Position: Preschool Special Education Support Staff (Full Time & Part Time)

The Support Staff plays a crucial role in assisting the classroom teacher by engaging with students in various daily activities, facilitating transitions between tasks (such as arrival and dismissal), organizing classroom materials for effective instruction, and supporting other non-instructional duties within the educational environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities of the Support Staff:

  1. Assist students during arrival and dismissal by escorting them to and from school buses. Provide guidance to students throughout the facility outside of the classroom.
  2. Support students in daily living activities (e.g., hand washing, toileting).
  3. Collaborate with teachers and assistants to prepare the classroom for instructional activities.
  4. Assist teachers with clerical tasks that do not involve confidential information.
  5. Participate in maintaining cleanliness in the classroom to ensure the health and safety of all students.
  6. Adhere to the policies and procedures established by Early Learning Centers.
  7. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
