About the Role

Spectrum Industries is seeking a highly skilled IT System Administrator to join our team. As an IT System Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT System Administration: Administer, optimize, and automate on-premise and cloud IT systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Network and Infrastructure Management: Maintain and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, including firewall management, to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
  • Business Application Support: Implement and support business applications to meet the needs of our organization.
  • System and Database Administration: Administer and maintain systems and databases to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Cloud and On-Premise Integration: Assist with integration between cloud and on-premise systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Security and Compliance: Evaluate and implement security standards to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
  • Service Availability: Ensure the availability of our services to our customers and stakeholders.
  • IT System Improvement: Continuously improve our IT system landscape and cloud services to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document system changes, instructions, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
About You
  • Education and Experience: Completed education or degree in the field of computer science and relevant experience in networking, servers, databases, and virtualization.
  • Technical Skills: Passion for innovative solutions and trends in the IT field, affinity for Bash programming and scripting, and knowledge of cloud services, specifically Azure and AWS.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, self-directed work style, high level of initiative, teamwork, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
  • Language Skills: Good knowledge of German and English.
