Snowflake Data Architect

About the Role
Vision It US is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data warehousing solutions on Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analytics-based solutions that produce quantitative and qualitative business insights
- Work with partners to integrate systems and data quickly and effectively, regardless of technical challenges or business environments
- Lead efforts to design, build, and configure applications, acting as primary point of contact
- Own end-to-end RFP or RFI or proactive proposals, client presentations, and solution workshops
- Contribute to areas such as estimation, building PoVs, offerings development, training, and capability building
- Client-facing role in terms of running solution workshops, client visits, handling large RFP pursuits, and managing multiple stakeholders
- Deploy fully operational data warehouse solutions into production on Snowflake
- Perform project management activities, including project documentation, business requirements, and project tracking
- Develop Snowflake SQL, writing SQL queries against Snowflake, and developing scripts (Unix, Python, etc.) to do Extract, Load, and Transform data
Requirements
- Snowflake architecture experience in designing and architecting Snowflake projects
- Expertise in Snowflake Data Modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing stored procedures, and standard DWH/ETL concepts
- Clear understanding of Snowflake's advanced concepts, such as virtual warehouses, query performance using micro-partitions and pruning, zero-copy clone, time travel, resource monitors, and security control methods (including network data, role-based, etc.)
- Proficient with data platform architecture design, data dictionaries, multidimensional models, objects, star and snowflake schemas, as well as structures for data lakes, data science, and data warehouses using Snowflake
- Demonstrate expertise in Snowflake data modeling and ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored procedures, and best practices with data warehouse and ETL concepts
- Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design architecture
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures
- Indepth understanding of Data Warehouse, ODS, ETL concept, and modeling structure principles
- Experience in Data warehousing, OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
- Good working knowledge of any ETL tool
- Ability to effectively function in a cross-teams environment
