Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Coach to join our team at Brain Balance Woodbury. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping children and adults overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

This is a part-time position working approximately 12-20 hours per week, with the flexibility to work after school and evening shifts. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and empathetic individual who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Coach, you will be responsible for leading students through our unique program, which combines physical and sensorimotor exercises, academic skills training, and healthy nutrition. Your primary focus will be on carrying out and monitoring the progress of enrolled students as they move through their specifically designed protocols.

You will work closely with our Program Director to ensure that students receive the best possible support and guidance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a rewarding career where they can make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead students through our program, providing guidance and support throughout their journey
  • Monitor student progress and work closely with our Program Director to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, and program operation
  • Attend staff meetings, staff development, and training as directed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or those with high behavioral needs
  • General knowledge of child development and behavior
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other coaches, support staff, and parents
  • High school diploma and moderate experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience
