About the Role

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge RF power generators for the semiconductor industry. As an RF Generator Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating and refining RF power generators, enhancing their performance, reliability, and integration into broader system architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-power RF amplifier circuits and associated components such as power dividers, directional couplers, and impedance matching networks.
  • Transition designs from simulation to detailed prototyping, leveraging tools like Advanced Design System (ADS), High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), and Mathcad.
  • Enhance design efficiency and performance while ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing standards.
  • Drive innovation in RF power generators, particularly using Gallium Nitride (GaN) devices and new modulation techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of RF generators into comprehensive solutions.
  • Conduct testing and validation, addressing design challenges and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a specialization in RF power engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in RF power generator design and development.
  • Strong command of RF circuit design and analysis software.
  • Experience in high-power module testing and plasma technologies.
  • Leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
