About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at George Washington University Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images of human anatomy and vascular structures using computed tomography (CT) technology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner to ensure patient satisfaction and promote the services offered at the facility.
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images, following prescribed protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a registered Computed Tomography Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(CT) license required.
