Job Summary:

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for administering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and self, and maintaining equipment and exam rooms in a neat and safe condition.

Responsibilities:

* Administer sound patient care practices, adhering to department and hospital policies and procedures
* Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations
* Correctly identify patients and their files, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
* Track patients according to department procedures, identifying errors and taking immediate action for corrections
* Participate in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services, and meetings

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited school of radiography
* Certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist
* Obtain CT Certification within one year of acceptance
* Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment
* Basic Life Support Certification
