Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images of human anatomy and vascular structures using computed tomography (CT) technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
  • Follow prescribed protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless patient care and workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a registered Computed Tomography Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(CT) license required.
