Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Pulmonary Care Unit in Children's of Alabama.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team providing exceptional care to pediatric patients. As a Respiratory Therapy student, you will assist licensed practitioners in delivering high-quality patient care while gaining hands-on experience.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Job Responsibilities- Assist respiratory care practitioners in providing care to patients and their families.
- Perform assigned duties and responsibilities according to institutional and department-specific policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- You must be currently enrolled and have completed the first semester in a respiratory therapy program accredited by CoARC or its successor organization.
- Completion of at least one pediatric clinical rotation in respiratory therapy is recommended.
- You must have submitted both Verification of Employment and Verification of Enrollment forms to the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy.
- You must possess current Basic Life Support certification.
