Position Title: Quality Control Manager

Company: Vacuum Process Engineering, Inc.

Compensation Range: $110-125k

Overview:

The Quality Control Manager is pivotal in upholding quality standards and managing all quality assurance initiatives. This role encompasses the training and development of personnel to ensure the organization maintains superior quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product inspection and testing methodologies

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee the Quality Department, including QC inspectors, engineers, and QA personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • At least 5 years in a manufacturing setting
  • 5+ years in a Quality Management position
  • Experience with ISO 9000 or AS9100 standards
  • Background in customer quality assurance
  • Lead Auditor certification
  • Inspection experience
  • Familiarity with JobBoss and Nadcap

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

Five years of experience in an industrial manufacturing Quality Department.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Mathematical Skills:

Proficient in applying mathematical concepts.

Computer Proficiency:

Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid Driver's License.

Other Skills:

Strong communication and management capabilities.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities may be necessary. The work environment is typically quiet to moderately active.
