Data Governance/Strategy Client Manager

Lifescale Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance/Strategy Client Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our clients' data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Manage data management processes to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and develop data quality metrics to monitor performance.
  • Facilitate data access and sharing across the organization while ensuring data security and compliance.
  • Ensure data privacy and security policies are in place and followed.
  • Integrate new digital customer channels into existing enterprise applications to enhance the customer experience.
  • Create visualizations through analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and manage client relationships and portfolios.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related fields.
  • Experience in leading data governance initiatives and managing teams is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of data governance concepts and frameworks, as well as experience working with data governance tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data governance concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience utilizing Data Visualization tools to build dashboards and presentations.
  • Data Cataloging Tools Experience: to create and maintain a catalog of all the data assets within an organization.
  • Data Quality Tools Experience: used to assess and monitor the quality of data within an organization.
  • Data Lineage Tools Experience: Used to provide a complete picture of how data moves throughout an organization.
  • Master Data Management (MDM) Tools Experience: MDM tools help to manage and control the master data within an organization.
  • Metadata Management Tools Experience: Metadata management tools enable you to manage and track metadata.
  • Data Governance Workflow Tools Experience: Data governance workflow tools to automate and streamline data governance processes.
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other Information Technology major, or equivalent work experience.
Certifications:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
  • Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP).
  • Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP).
