Travel and Expense Analyst

The Travel and Expense Analyst serves as the program administrator and subject matter expert for Concur, IPG's travel and expense system, supporting North America with approximately 1,000 users. This role is responsible for ensuring all travel and expense processes run accurately and timely, analyzing and resolving Concur issues, generating reports, and reviewing expense report audit results.
Key Responsibilities- Program administration for IPG's Concur Travel and Expense system
- Set-up and maintenance of user accounts, including assignment and review of unassigned Corporate Cards
- Provide superior customer service to Concur users in resolving expense report issues
- Enforce Company T&E policy, report exceptions to managers and/or HR for resolution
- Conduct and/or review audits of expense reports and resolve audit findings
- Ensure Concur audit rules, exceptions, and procedures are aligned with the T&E Policy
- Prepare Corporate Card reconciliations for employees with delinquent account balances
- Implement enhancements to Concur Travel and Expense system to improve and streamline travel booking and expense management processes
- Provide monthly and ad-hoc management reporting on travel and expense
- Provide training to new employees
- Educate users on company travel and expense policies
- Extract weekly payment files from Concur and upload into SAP
- Perform monthly Concur account reconciliations to General Ledger
- Run Concur KPIs, monthly accrual, and unassigned Corporate Card transaction reports
- Extensive knowledge of Concur and related ERP interfaces (SAP)
- Ability to learn quickly
- Detail-oriented, thorough self-starter
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Process and detail-oriented, with ability to recommend and implement improvements to existing processes
- Ability to understand and explain policy requirements to users and expense approvers
- Highly organized and proactive, with superior problem resolution and analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Concur T&E experience required, minimum 2 years
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent work experience
- Moderate knowledge of reporting tools such as Cognos
- Knowledge of Business Travel Industry
- Moderate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity of A/P systems and processes
