Medical Screener Specialist

As a Plasma Center Technician at BioLife, you will play a critical role in our mission to collect high-quality plasma from donors, which will be used to create life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate medical history records.
- Operate state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safety of our donors and the quality of the plasma collected.
- Work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
- Support our donors by working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $18.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and participation in our comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match.
As a valued member of our team, you will also receive up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year and accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
