Medical Screener Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plasma Center Technician. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma that will be used to create life-changing medicines.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results.
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes as needed.
- Work collaboratively with your management team to ensure a clean and professional work environment.
- Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in a healthcare or customer service environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $18.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
