About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Screener to join our team at Biolife Plasma Services. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical screenings of donors to ensure their safety and eligibility to donate.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect plasma from donors.
  • Answer phones and greet donors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the safety of donors and staff by following proper protocols and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
Requirements
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • Prolonged glove wear required due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
