We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiology procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and review patient medical information to identify age-specific needs.
- Perform high-quality radiographic procedures, utilizing proper radiation protection to safeguard patients.
- Efficiently use equipment, reporting any deficiencies to your supervisor.
- Stock x-ray rooms between exams and at the end of your shift.
- Assist radiologists with procedures and take on additional tasks during periods of high workload.
- Document patient condition changes using appropriate forms.
- Prepare patients for exams, obtain medical history, and perform receptionist duties as needed.
- Produce radiographs, follow ALARA guidelines, and practice universal precautions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy permit; American Heart Association BLS.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with minimal blood-borne pathogen exposure.
