Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiology procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and review patient medical information to identify age-specific needs.
  • Perform high-quality radiographic procedures, utilizing proper radiation protection to safeguard patients.
  • Efficiently use equipment, reporting any deficiencies to your supervisor.
  • Stock x-ray rooms between exams and at the end of your shift.
  • Assist radiologists with procedures and take on additional tasks during periods of high workload.
  • Document patient condition changes using appropriate forms.
  • Prepare patients for exams, obtain medical history, and perform receptionist duties as needed.
  • Produce radiographs, follow ALARA guidelines, and practice universal precautions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy permit; American Heart Association BLS.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with minimal blood-borne pathogen exposure.
